This online course is aimed at social workers/personal advisors/team managers/local authority legal teams who are case-holding former relevant unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC).
The increase in UASC numbers across the whole of the UK, and the implementation of the Social Work Act 2017, has meant that Local Authorities are supporting more former relevant UASC. This online course covers the roles and responsibilities of Local Authority practitioners who are supporting this client group, from the triple planning process through to the final decision on young people’s Asylum claims, be that positive or negative.
